Revolution Precrafted enters Myanmar property market

 

Revolution Precrafted Properties Philippines Inc. has firmed up a $1.2 billion deal to manufacture and supply prefabricated homes for Myanmar’s KT Group.

The transaction gives Revolution Precrafted a significant foothold in Myanmar’s real estate narket.

“We believe these mid-market prefabricated homew will appeal to a significant chunj of the Myanmar population. Myanmar is an emerging economy with 53 million people.

We want to take advantage of this sizable market and make it a cornerstone of our regional expansion,” said Revolution Precrafted founder and CEO Robbie Antonio.

Prefabricated homes will be built for KT Group’s Okkyin mixed-use project which costs at least $350 million.

Robbie, the son of Century Propertie founder and chairman Jose E.B. Antonio, is the youngest among Forbes Philippines 50 wealthiest last year.
