Yazaki Torres CEO Thotie Torres enters food business

The head of Japan-backed automotive parts manufacturer Yazaki Torres has ventured into the food business.

After capturing a significant share in the auto parts industry, Yazaki-Torres president Thotie Torres, is ready to further spread his wings.

Torres just opened an authentic Sapporo Nishiyama Ramen shop called King••Men, which really lives up to its name as it is ramen fit for a king.

King**Men is located on the fourth floor of NAIA-3 food hall.

Torres is no stranger to Japanese food, having made countless visits and business trips to Japan while doing business for Yazaki-Torres.

He is considering opening more branches due to the successful launch of the first store.

“Friends and acquaintances have been offering store spaces so we may also open a shop in their area. Then they do not have to go to NAIA just to savor the king of ramens. We are happy that the public likes our food. And we intend to grow the number of our stores aggressively during the next two years,” Torres said.
