Duterte appoints another Davaoeno as SEC commissioner


Malacanang appointed SEC Davao extension office director Javey Paul Francico as new commissioner of the corporate watchdog.

Francisco replaced Blas James Viterbo, who resigned last February due to health reasons. His appointment paper was signed on April 18. He will serve until May 20, 2021.

Francisco joins four other members of the SEC collegial body namely Teresita Herbosa (chairperson), Antonieta Ibe, Ephyro Luis Amatong and Emilio Aquino

Prior to his appointment as commissioner, Aquino used to head the SEC Davao and Zamboanga extension offices from 1993 to 2005.
