Tony Lambino is Dominguez’s new recruit for DOF
He is crossing over from the private sector to government all in the name of tax reform.
Secretary Carlos Dominguez III has officially sworn into office Antonio Joselito “Tony” Lambino II as the new assistant secretary of the Department of Finance (DOF).
Lambino will head a new unit called the Strategy, Economics, and Results Group (SERG), where he is expected to provide “strategic advice” for the DOF’s tax reform team in pushing for succeeding packages of the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program.
Lambino jumped ship coming from Ayala Corp., where he was head of public policy. His communcations expertise has been honed by his experience at the International Rice Research Institute and at the World Bank in Washington, D.C.
