Consunji family to venture into sòcialized housing
DMCI Homes, the property arm of the Consunji family, is entering the socialized housing segment with first project expected to rise in Calaca, Batangas.
Company president Alfredo Austria said DMCI Homes is looking to acquire properties in Cavite, Laguna and Bulacan.
Austria said the realty firm is open to forging joint ventures with landowners and developers to pursue socialized housing.
DMCI Homes has budgeted P15.6 billion for capital spending thia year largely for land acquisition and project development.
For this yearn the company plans to launch eight high-rise projects in Davao City, Las Pinas, Manila, Paranaque, Pasay, Pasig and Quezon City.
The company is seen to generate P49 billion in revenues from these projects.
