What makes Bea Zobel Jr. happy

Palawan-based Paloma Zobel shared on Instagram that farm life makes her mommy Bea Zobel Jr. happy.

“My Dad loved farming and I think it’s one of the many things that made him such an incredible charismatic being. He loved the outdoors, his dogs and the fulfillment of working in the fields whenever he could. My brother inherited the same passion and created a beautiful organic farm in our home in Batangas. This past year, as our project in Palawan started to take off, my mum began to develop a great interest and appreciation for farming too. We acquired a plot of land an hour away from El Nido, with the sole mission of creating a farm to help with the supply of organic produce around Palawan. This morning at 7am she drove one hour in the rain through the rough roads to check on the greenhouses and workers. She sent me this photo with the caption “This is special.” It is special, because I think in a way, we’ve been able to keep my fathers greatest passion alive. I would have never pictured my mother as a farmer, but I guess it shows how my fathers great sense of humor is still with us today. I’ve never seen her so happy as when she’s on the farm. Life works in funny and beautiful ways,” said @p.u.z.

Bea is from the prominent family behind corporate giant Ayala Corp .
