BSP offers free seminars on how to spot fake money
Have a sharper eye versus counterfeits.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has announced that they are offering free lectures to help the public identify real and fake bills and coins.
In a memorandum, the central bank said its Metro Manila Currency Operations Sub-sector is currently offering regular Know Your Money briefings, which discusses the safety features of notes and coins in circulation, the proper identification of unfit and counterfit currency, as well as the handing of foreign currencies.
The briefings are offered for free at Building A of the BSP’s Security Plant Complex along East Avenue in Quezon City.
