From IRRI to BSP: Duterte appoints Bruce Tolentino to Monetary Board
There’s a new central banker in town.
President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed V. Bruce Tolentino to the Monetary Board.
Appointment papers dated June 6 designated Tolentino, who serves as deputy director general at the International Rice Research Institute, to the highest decision-making body of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

Tolentino replaces former Monetary Board Member Valentin Araneta who passed away in February.
