MVP slams Aussies for removing PLDT stickers in PH Arena court
Tensions are rising just hours before the match.
Bilyonaryo Manuel V. Pangilinan cried foul over the removal of the PLDT logo on the court at the Philippine Arena ahead of the qualifying match between Australia and the Philippines for the FIBA World Cup.
Pangilinan, who is also chairman emeritus of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, said the decals were removed without their permission.
“Aussie team ripping our/Fiba logos on the court of Phil Arena w/o asking permission. We will not back down. Those stickers go in,” Pangilinan said as he shared CCTV footage of the incident.

Netizens were quick to react, poking fun that the men who removed the stickers may be on to something beyond basketball.

normally I’d denounce such brazen acts from visitors , but after undergoing PLDT’s lousy service the past 2 weeks, cant’s say I dislike what they’re doing
