UAE’s LuLu Group meets Duterte to set up PH operations

 

This Middle Eastern chain wants to expand to the Philippines.

Abu Dhabi’s LuLu Group International wants to pour $1 million to the Philippines as it eyes to export to the local market.

LuLu Group runs a chain of hypermarkets in the United Arab Emirates.

Lulu Group International Chairman and Managing Director Yusuff Ali Musaliam Veettil Abdul Kader personally visited President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacañang on Tuesday, Aug. 7 to inform him about their goal to set up a warehouse in Calamba, Laguna and make it an export hub for products to be sent to Gulf countries and in Indonesia, Malaysia, and India.
