Henann Group accused of plagiarizing Cristiano Ronaldo’s apology tweet
The Henann Group of Resorts has spoken up and apologized after being accused of faking its environmental compliance certificate.
The only problem? The upscale resort operator’s apology appears to have been plagiarized.
Plagiarism is the act of passing off someone else’s words or ideas as your own.
Eagle-eyed netizens discovered that an entire paragraph was almost verbatim, to Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s apology tweet over the rape controversy.
You be the judge!
I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me. Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in. Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense.
