Ito dapat! RSA thumbs down Dominguez’s pitch for EDSA-Rockwell
This bilyonaryo has a different way of solving the Mandaluyong-Makati conundrum.
Ramon Ang has whipped up his own proposal on how to address worsening traffic at the EDSA-Rockwell flyover, which is due to be shutdown in January after several postponements.
Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III and Public Works Secretary Mark Villar had planned to shut down the Estrella-Pantaleon bridge, which links the two cities via Rockwell, to build a new one using Chinese funding.
Ang had other ideas: “At EDSA-Rockwell flyover, we should build an elevated road that will allow you to pass through Boni Ave, Shaw Blvd, and go straight to Santolan in Quezon City. This will decongest traffic further.”
Who’s got the better solution?
