Cebu Landmasters gears up for large-scale projects
Soberano-led Cebu Landmasters Inc. is ready to take on big-scale projects as it aims to further strengthen its leadership position in the Visayas-Mindanao region.
The listed developer identified close to 200 hectares for estate development in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, Mactan, Davao and Cagayan de Oro.
CLI chief executive officer Jose Soberano III said 52 projects are in various stages of development in eight key cities.
The company will soon launch a 22-hectare central business district in Matina, Davao City which will house the province’s first major business park. Phase 1 development will require an investment of P10 billion and create about 10,000 jobs.
CLI is also firming up negotiations for a 6.35-hectare and a 63.5-hectare property in Cagayan de Oro City that will be converted into an integrated estate.
In Cebu, CLi is in discussions for a 20-hectare property which will be developed.into a business park to meet the sustained demand for office space.
CLI’s two-tower MesaTierra Garden Residences is targeted to be completed in 2020 while its mixed-use project along McArthur Highway in Matina is scheduled for completion in 2021.
Affiliate Ming-Mori Development Corp. is also in the final stages of its compliances for the 100-hectare Minglanilla reclamation ang techno-business park project. This will be a game changer in Cebu, generating over 100 hectares of much needed light industrial and commercial uses in the South of
