All of the five highest paid executives at Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co., led by bilyonaryo Arthur Ty, will receive a combined P214.4 million in total renumeration this year, up 12 percent from the previous year.
Arthur, the eldest son of taipan George Ty, sits as chairman of Metrobank, the country’s second largest lender in terms of assets.
Aside from Ty, the four other top paid officials of Metrobank are Fabian Dee (president), Joshua Naing and Ferdinand Antonio Tansingco (both senior EVP) and Mary Mylene Caparas (EVP).
Their aggregate salaries are seen increasing to P146.6 million from P130.72 million last year while their bonuses will rise to P50.6 million from P43.65 million.
All other Metrobank executive officers and directors are expected to get a combined renumeration of P440.6 million.
