The fast-rising bank announced a major shake-up in its leadership.
In a disclosure filed with the stock exchange, Security Bank said its incumbent president and CEO Alfonso “Yogi” Salcedo would be retiring on June 30, 2019.
Taking his place is Sanjiv Vohra, a seasoned banker across Asia.
Vohra worked for a number of global lenders, including Citibank, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Deutsche Bank, to name a few.
But his closest link to Security Bank was his stint with The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd.
Salcedo will not completely leave the bank as he would serve as senior adviser to the board of directors.
