Fresh graduates may find fewer job vacancies in the third quarter.
A recent survey by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) showed that the number of local businesses who said they would hire more employees declined.
About 26 percent of companies said they would be hiring new workers between July and September, lower than the 29.7 percent tallied in the previous quarter.
“This suggests that more firms will continue to hire new employees, although the number of new hires may be lower compared to the previous quarter’s survey,” the BSP said.
