The world is definitely taking notice of the Philippines, with a global business magazine citing the country as the third best place in the world to run a company.
CEOWORLD magazine recently released its “World’s Best Countries To Invest In Or Do Business For 2019” list with Asian economies leading the way as prime locations for investors.
King of the list is Malaysia, which scored 85.8 on their scale with Poland nipping on its heels with 85.2.
In third place with a score of 84.6 is the Philippines.
According to CEOWORLD, the rankings assess 11 different factors like the level of corruption, freedom (personal, trade, and monetary), workforce, investor protection, infrastructure, taxes, quality of life, red tape, and technological readiness.
Completing the top 10 are Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, India, Czech Republic, Spain, and Thailand. The list covers 67 countries.
United Kingdom placed 16th, the United States at 18th, while nearby business hub Hong Kong logged in at 57th.
