With only a few months left before ABS-CBN Broadcasting Inc.’s franchise expires, TV host Boy Abunda is staying hopeful that things will work out well for his beloved network.

In an interview with Abante, Abunda revealed how he’s handling the situation with ABS-CBN’s franchise set to expire in March 2020.

“Ang feeling ko is I’m wishing for the best. I am not familiar with the problem, hindi ko alam ang detalye ng problema, pero anuman ‘yun ay sana’y siyempre, maayos,” he said.

Whatever happens, he’s sticking as a Kapamilya.

“ I am under contract with ABS-CBN. I will remain loyal to ABS-CBN. My contract is until the end of 2020. I will address that as it happens. But I will honor my contract and my relationships and my friendships with people in ABS-CBN,” Abunda said.

President Duterte has repeatedly threatened to block the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN for not airing his 2016 election advertisement and for alleged biased reporting.
