Food and beverage kiosk operator Fruitas Holdings Inc. has acquired a property in Sasa, Davao City in line with plans to spur faster growth in Mindanao.
The property will be used as office and warehouse space, Fruitas said in a statement.
Fruitas has increased the number of stores in Mindanao by 20 percent from the middle of 2019.
The company plans to boost its total store network to 2,000 by 2023 from 1,068 end-2019.
It recently completed the acquisition of the assets of Heat Stroke Grill, with two outlets located at its food parks in Quezon City. The acquisition is a key addition to Fruitas’ food portfolio, which will complement Sabroso Lechon and its rice meals concepts.
“Fruitas’ vision is to be ubiquitous in Filipinos’ lives and grilled food is an integral part of Filipinos’ daily diet, as evidenced by the proliferation of grilled food offerings in key commercial establishments,” the company said.
