JV Ejercito calls out LTFRB for disparity in regulating Grab, Angkas

Fomer senator JV Ejercito expressed disappointment over how the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) was treating ride-hailing app Grab with kid gloves.

Fomer senator JV Ejercito expressed disappointment over how the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) was treating ride-hailing app Grab with kid gloves.

“I have always been against monopoly. I am a believer that competition will improve services & will benefit the public. If LTFRB wants competition for motorcycle hailing services, treat car hailing services the same way. But this is not the case,” Ejercito said in a tweet.

LTFRB has imposed a 10,000-biker limit for the extended pilot run of motorcycle taxis in the country.
