The Civil Aeronautics Board has temporarily banned the entry of people coming from China, Hong Kong and Macau except for Filipino citizens and holders of permanent resident visas issued by the Philippine government.

In order issued February 2, CAB said Filipinos or permanent residents coming from China or any of its special administrative regions must be quarantined for 14 days.

CAB also ordered a temporary ban on Filipinos traveling to China or Hong Kong or Macau.

It asked the Air Carriers Association of the Philippines and the Board of Airline Representatives to assist in spreading word on its order.
