Back in business: Tagaytay Highlands reopens lodge after volcano eruption
Tagaytay Highlands, a luxury mountain resort and mixed-use development in Tagaytay, Cavite, is back to life.
The Spa and Lodge at Tagaytay Highlands has reopened, three weeks after Taal Volcano erupted with a massive plume of ash and steam, affecting its surrounding areas.
“The Spa and Lodge is now operational,” Tagaytay Highlands said in a notice to its members.
The two golf courses, on the other hand, are expected to open in the next 15 days.
Tagaytay Highlands suspended the operations of all its amenities to facilitate cleaning and clearing works of major roads amid the ash fall caused by the volcano’s eruption.
The temporary closure was aimed at ensuring the safety of Tagaytay Highlands homeowners, guests and employees and was in compliance with the government mandated evacuation.
