Max’s Group opens first Yellow Cab store in Cambodia
Will Yellow Cab beat the famous Happy Pizza?
The popular Philippine pizza chain owned by the Max’s Group Inc. opened its flagship store in Phnom Penh, Cambodia last month.
Located at the Garden Eden Mall, Yellow Cab’s first store in Cambodia, will have a grand opening in April.
The Yellow Cab franchise in Cambodia is managed by Mongkol Food and Beverages and co-owned by Thomas Giordano and Khorn Chhundara.
Giordano revealed that the idea to bring Yellow Cab to Cambodia came from his parents during a visit to Boracay few years ago.
He said the opening of Yellow Cab in Cambodia was warmly received and that plans were now underway for the opening of more branches.
“We welcome the entry of Yellow Cab Pizza in Cambodia whose rapidly growing economy provides an emerging market for world-class goods and services from the Philippines,” said Philippine Embassy Charge d’Affairres Myca Magnolia M. Fischer.
