Netizens have been hating on power utility giant Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) over unacceptable power outages amid searing heat.
Twitter users said the unplanned brownouts have caused major inconvenience especially to those who are working from home.

@meralco delivered the bill today. Ironically, it was delivered while we wait for our electricity to be restored. It was an 18-hour outage. Electricity has been back for an hour but my head is still spinning due to lack of sleep.
