“In total, mayroon nang 23,067 na units (Taxi & TNVS) ang makakapag bigay ng serbisyo sa ating mga pasahero starting June 1,” Grab Philippines country manager Brian Cu said on Facebook.
Cu said stringent safety and hygiene protocols are in place with the resumption of Grab operations.
All transactions must be cashless, cars can only carry up to two passengers at a time, and there must be a plastic barrier separating them from the driver at all times.
“Kahit kayo ay nasa list pero hindi kayo nag-undergo ng safety training at nagpalagay ng protective plastic barrier, hindi kayo papayagang makabiyahe. As much as we want to go back on the road asap, gusto pa rin nating maging safe ang bawat trip natin para sa lahat,” Cu said.
