Manila Polo Club opens sports facilities under GCQ: Courts, restrooms cleaned after every use

Manila Polo Club is opening its sports and recreation facilities with the shift to general community quarantine (GCQ) in Metro Manila. In an advisory to members, MPC said the sports facilities would be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. but only members, spouses and dependents (along with their nannies and caregivers) would be allowed inside the luxury property.

Members will undergo two body temperature checks and fill up a daily daily health questionnaire and waiver before entry.

Masks and social distancing will be mandatory with lingering around the club “highly discouraged.” Members are expected to leave after their reserved time slots.

Restrooms at these facilities will be open for use by Members to be cleaned and disinfected by our Housekeeping after every use.

The sports and recreation facilities – tennis (doubles allowed), badminton (singles only), squash, swimming pool (six to eight persons at any given time), golf driving range, archery, polo & equestrian, jogging and walking track (up to 30 users), and Saddle Brown – will have reservation and contact tracing system, with trainers and ball boys available subject to booking.

Food and beverage outlets will be open for takeaway and delivery only.
