Business magnate Dennis Uy’s Phoenix Petroleum has allowed more than 70% of its employees to work from home for the rest of the year.
Phoenix said this was its way of helping stop the spread of coronavirus in the country.
“We prioritize safety, not only of our customers, but also our people – considered as our greatest asset. While quarantine measures have been loosened, the threat of the virus continues, and we likewise continue to do our part to help flatten the curve,” said newly-appointed Phoenix president and COO Bong Fadullon.
Only employees whose roles are critical on site are permitted to report to their respective workplace while the others who will need to visit the office are required to secure clearance from a superior.
