Former Miss International Aurora Pijuan slammed Leyte 4th District Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez for defending the Anti-Terrorism Act which was recently signed by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Pijuan, ex-wife of Tommy Manotoc, said Torres-Gomez had a poor grasp of how the new measure could could trample upon basic human rights and could be prone to abuse.
“I wonder if Lucy Torres understands this fear,” Pijuan twitted.
“She can at least just shut up and not confirm what we already know,” Pijuan added referring to a post about Lucy’s political survival.

Torres-Gomez defended the controversial measure, which she claimed was necessary to fight terrorism.
