Gov’t allows restos to increase dining capacity to 50% by July 21

Starting July 21, dining rooms in general community quarantine areas will be allowed to increase capacity to 50% and 75% for those in modified GCQ locations.

Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez said this was the government’s way of saving the dining industry from further losses.

He likewise called for the extension of curfew hours so that establishments can stay open as late as 11 p.m. to accommodate late-night diners
