Walang binatbat si Marcos: Duterte ‘happy’ after dismantling Lopez ‘oligarchy’

President Rodrigo Duterte is in a celebratory mood a few days after the House committee slammed the door on ABS-CBN Corp.’s petition to renew its franchise.

Duterte even boasted about how be brought down the Lopez oligarchy without the need of a martial law, referring to his idol, the late President Ferdinand Marcos’ who shuttered ABS-CBN and other media outfits in 1972 through a special decree.

“Kaya ako mamatay, mahulog ‘yung eroplano, p***** i**, I am very happy. Alam mo bakit? Sabi ko without declaring martial law, I dismantled the oligarchy that controlled the economy of the Filipino people,” he added.

They take advantage sa kanilang political power,” he said.
