Grab’s global managing director Russell Cohen only shared kind words about Cu who is set to “focus on other business interests as an entrepreneur in the startup scene.”
Cu helped transform Grab PH into a
super app providing daily services such as seamless mobility, on-demand food delivery, logistics, cashless payments, and financial services.
“We send our heartfelt thanks to Brian for managing the Grab Philippines business for the past few years, where he’s grown the business from a fledgling startup to where it is today,” Cohen said.
Grab head of Transport and Shared Services Ronald Rod will head Grab Philippines’ operations, while Nicka Hosaka will remain as spokesperson.
