Sotto pointed out that only the grocery is temporarily closed. The restaurant, barber shop, pharmacy and plant shop may remain open for business, he said.
Essential businesses have a responsibility to make sure their customers and employees are kept as safe as possible from contracting the deadly virus.
” Usually when we suspend businesses for this reason, we don’t announce the name. We dont want them to have bad publicity, we just want their customers to be safe.
But this is a big business so you will hear probably hear abt it anyway,” Sotto said.
He said the management of Landers had promised to improve their safety procedures.
