The Club has reported a total of five infections among its members from August 2 to 9.
The three positive carriers went to the Club in three separate dates – July 27 and August 2 and 3 – but all three were together at the Hairwatch beauty salon and stayed there for three hours on August 3.
The three reported their positive results on August 6 and 8.
The Club has shut down Hairwatch since August 4 and its management office for one day starting August 10 for total disinfection. Their respective staff members who have been in contact with the tree infected members have been advised to go on self-quarantine and would be tested before returning to work.
“We are sending out a separate communication to those who may have had direct contact with the concerned Members, based on our contact tracing system. We request for your understanding as we cannot give any personal details or divulge any further information on our concerned Members under the Data Privacy Act,” management said.
“We would like to request that Members who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (e.g., fever, cough, troubled breathing) to avoid visiting the Club. Should you be aware of a Member or companion (e.g., driver, nanny, caregiver) who has been exposed to COVID-19 and whom you believe to have visited the Club within the last 30 days, please encourage them strongly to contact the Office of the General Manager,” it added.
