MVP’s TV website breached: Hacker shows PLDT-Smart boss his website security sucks

Even the news website of one of the country’s biggest telecommunication firms is vulnerable to cyberattacks.

On September 4, a hacker who calls himself “Mr. n00b13 breached” the website of TV5, the broadcasting concern of bilyonaryo Manny V. Pangilinan, the chairman of PLDT-Smart.

The hacker did not access data from the TV5 website but uploaded content that said: “Vuln!! Path it now!!”

According to, “vuln” is an abbreviation of the word vulnerable normally used internet speak when citing weak spots in a computer code that a hacker exploits.
