BDO, BPI, Metrobank to reimpose online transfer fees on Oct.1

Industry giants BDO Unibank, Bank of the Philippine Islands and Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. are among the 12 lenders and e-wallets set to resume interbank fund transfer fees to customers by October 1.

The other banks include RCBC, China Bank, Bank of Commerce, Robinsons Bank, PSBank, China Bank Savings, and PBCom.

Meanwhile, the 11 banks that have waived online transfer fees until the end of the year are Union Bank of the Philippines, Asia United Bank, Land Bank of the Philippines, Development Bnk of the Philippines, Security Bank, Sterling Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, EastWest Banking Corp., United Coconut Planters Bank, Maybank and HSBC.
