The Covid-19 task force said this was in line with the government’s efforts to “augment the additional operational requirements and serve the needs of the public while enhancing income opportunities for workers.”
Restaurants and delivery services, meanwhile, were allowed to operate 24 hours. Dine-in capacity has also been increased to more than 50% capacity as against 30% previously.
Hardware stores, clothing shops, bookstores, baby care, and similar stores can reopen fully as well.
Barbershops are also allowed to expand to 75% capacity.
