P110M in Sept: Cemex racks up more shares in PH subsidiary

Mexican cement giant Cemex continued to pick up more shares of its Philippine subsidiary last month.

Through its regional investment arm, Cemex Asian South East Corp. (CASEC), the firm bought roughly P110 million worth of shares of Cemex Holdings Philippines Inc. in September

CASEC bought a total of 74.613 million shares at P1.40 to P1.54.

The purchase raised its stake in Cemex Philippines by half a percentage point to 77.74 percent.

The previous month, August 2020, CASEC bought P200 million worth of shares at 87 centavos to P1.50 per share.
