Arthur Ty joins sis in picking up Metrobank shares

Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co. chairman Arthur Ty has joined his sister in picking up the bank’s battered shares in the stock market.

The 53-year old bought P7 million worth of Metrobank shares on October 6. He acquired 180,000 shares at P38.95 to P39.30.

In late September, Arthur’s sister, Metrobank Treasurer Anjanette T. Dy Buncio, snapped up P10 million worth of Metrobank shares.

The Ty-blings was ranked 12th among the 50 richest Filipinos by Forbes with a net worth of $1.4 billion.
