BPI starts charging interbank fund transfers

The Bank of the Philippine Islands has resumed its P25 fund transfer service fee to other local banks.

However, an exception remains for transfers to PayMaya and GCash, as well as for loading to prepaid accounts.

Even BPI to BPI transactions will be charged a P10 fee unless the transfers are done either through QR code scans or by enrolling the recipient account on your online banking profile.
