Istorbo daw! City Hall stops DMCI QC condo

Construction work at DMCI Homes’ project in Quezon City was halted after residents complained about the extremely loud noises at the site.

Quezon City mayor Joy Belmonte issued an order stopping the construction of a new condominium in Proj. 4 following complaints received from the residents.

Apart from the loud noise, residents said DMCI Homes also failed to comply with its work schedule as working hours had been extended until 10pm even on weekends.

It would be recalled that in 2017 DMCI was also ordered to suspend construction of the controversial Torre de Manila, a high-rise condominium along Taft Avenue, Manila, for ruining the sightline of the Rizal Momument Park in Luneta Park.
