Consunji-led DMCI Homes has resumed construction of its residential project in Quezon City following its submission of an affidavit of undertaking to the local government.

Last Monday, the Quezon City Office of the City Building Official lifted the cease and desist order issued against the construction of DMCI’s project along Aurora Boulevard in Barangay Marilag.

In the affidavit of undertaking it submitted, DMCI committed to strictly observe relevant measures to minimize noise produced by any equipment or any construction activity of the subject structure.

DMCI likewise promised that construction activities shall take place only from 7 am to 7 pm except for jobs that do not cause noise/sound such as painting or finishing works and the unloading to the ground of construction materials from delivery trucks.

It also promised to update on a quarterly basis the Barangay Marilag as to the status of the construction of the project.

“As a responsible developer, we would like to reiterate our commitment to foster good relations with the communities where we operate and bring forth economic activities beneficial to the society,” DMCI said.
