Converge told to address internet outage in Baguio

The Baguio City Council has directed bilyonaryo Dennis Anthony Uy’s Converge ICT Solutions Inc. to draw up a technical and business plan to improve its internet services.

The city legislative body ordered Converge to submit the plan in two weeks after subscribers complained about poor, intermittent internet connectivity and lousy customer service.

It also directed Converge to hire adequate and competent local personnel to look into customers’ complaints.

Converge ICT head of business center and transition group Jan Meneses said the outages were caused by a fiber cut in Tarlac.

Meneses assured that the company’s technical team is on top of the situation and that they expect to resolve the problem by the end of November.
