Bianca Elizalde has learned a lot this 2020—some she doesn’t share online but for other topics, she takes the time to sit down, write and share with her audience.
In her most recent post, she wanted to talk about conscious fashion, especially the negative impacts the big industry has on the environment.
She came clean that she is actually a participant of this “vicious cycle that is excessively depleting the earth’s resources.”
Instead of just letting it be, she decided to take action and engage with fashion in an “eco-friendly way” that is in line with her personal philosophies.
“And one of the many ways I’ve been exploring, is moving towards local, slow fashion,” she wrote. In her post, she was wearing a Maremonti kaftan with hand embroidery from the ITNEG indigenous community.
