Metro Pacific Investments Corp., which has interests in water, power, tollways, railway, hospital and logistics, announced Thursday the appointment of Cabal-Revilla as its chief financial officer effective Dec. 1.
She will replace outgoing CFO David Nicol, who will remain with the company as advisor for the next 12 months to aid the transition.
Cabal-Revilla brings a wealth of experience to MPIC, having served across various financial management roles. She was named CFO of the year at the Philippine Leadership Awards in 2019, Asia’s CFO of the Year at the Golden Globe Tigers Awards, CFO of the year by the CFO Innovations Forum, among others.
Wife of Cavite Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla, Cabal-Revilla graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the De La Salle University. She is the president of The Outstanding Young Men Foundation and an appointed member of the Financial Reporting Standards Council of the Philippines as well as a triple A awardee of the Asian Institute Management.
She is currently CFO of the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation as well as chief sustainability officer of the PLDT Group.
Cabal-Revilla is the founding chairman of Gabay Guro, one of the country’s biggest education advocacy program empowering teachers and providing sustainable support to educational institutions across the country.
