Investagrams Inc. (Investa) told its over 237,000 followers on Facebook that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Cybercrime Division raided the house of Kaiser Dapar, owner of www.kisschart.com, who has been purloining its paid market data from the Philippine Stock Exchange since May 2020.
Investa, led by CEO and co-founder JC Bisnar, said the NBI served a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court of Paranaque to Dapar on 25 November 2020. Investa said the NBI seized all equipment and paraphernalia found in Dapar’s residents that were used to steal its data. Investag said Dapar, under questioning by NBI, “confessed everything and admitted that he was indeed stealing our stock data for his website www.kisschart.com.”
“He also divulged all the other entities and personalities involved in this case. He then offered to do a public apology and promised to give his full cooperation with the authorities. Thus, one of our officers lent him his laptop and Mr. Dapar proceeded with the public apology which he posted online,” Investa said. A video of Dapar’s apology “The truth about kisschart and gandahko” is posted on kisschart’s ebsite.
“We would like to politely request our beloved INVESTA community and friends to refrain from dwelling on this case as it is now lodged with the proper authorities. We assure you that we will not stop until all personalities involved are behind bars,” it added.
Traders Lounge, a rival site which has been a vocal endorser of kisschart for months, was quick to distance itself from Dapar and kisschart.
“Kaiser/Mark acted alone. You cannot cooperate if you masterminded the whole thing. No one had access to kisschart but Mark. No one has the proper know how to steal but him,” TRaders Lounge sid on Facebook
“Si Kaiser ang lumapit sa TL at walang prior connections ang TL sa kanya before May. Lahat ng domain or AdSense nakapangalan kay Kaiser.
We will also look into the data stealing from PSE that happened three years ago which they were all also involved. There were no contracts of payments made for him to steal,” it added.
