Vivant bags power supply deal in Pampanga

Vivant Energy Corp. and partner Gigawatt Power Corp. won a power supply contract with the Pampanga II Electric Cooperative Inc. (PELCO II)

The group shall supply 15 megawatts of electricity to PELCO II for 15 years.

PELCO II serves the municipalities of Lubao, Sasmuan, Sta. Rita, Mabalacat, Porac and Bacolor in the province of Pampanga.

Vivant Energy will own 50% equity in the power plant project, which is expected to contribute to its growth in the power generation sector.

Its parent firm, Cebu-based Vivant Corp. aims to further expand its presence in energy and water infrastructure.

Vivant Energy is a major player in the off-grid market, with an attributable capacity of 282 megawatts composed of diesel and coal-fired power projects.
