Abogado Jorge Alfonso C. Melo has resigned as SVP and general counsel of PBCOM effective 31 December 2020. Melo was quitting “To focus on other professional commitment.”
The Ateneo Law graduate is a law partner of ZG Law.
PBCOm SVP for consumer finance Ricardo R. Mendoza has also resigned, effective 1 January 2021, due to “personal reasons.” Mendoza joined PBCom in May 2018.
Co and his wife, Susan, own 19 percent each of PBCom through PG Holdings.
PBCom doubled its profits to P1.512 billion in the first nine months of 2020.
