In a notice to the public, Shangrila’s Boracay Resort & Spa said it would not accept new checkins from January 22 to 28 to make way for further deep cleaning and disinfection of the resort.
Shangrila Boracay said all affected guests would be contacted personally and assisted with respect to alternative arrangements.
The upscale hotel said the health and wellbeing of its guests and colleagues remain its topmost priority as it maintained its compliance with hygiene and sanitation protocols on the property.
“We will remain in contact with the DOT and all relevant authorities and will continue to act in the best interest of all out guests and colleagues,” Shangrila Boracay said.
