Dennis Uy’s key execs P7M richer after selling DITO shares amid record surge

Bilyonaryo Dennis Uy’s top officers are cashing in handsomely on the recent bull run of Dito CME Holdings Corp.

Dito president Ernesto Alberto and chief financial officer Joseph John Ong pocketed a combined P7 million from the sale of DITO shares last week.

The former PLDT executive vice president sold 200,000 shares at P17.70 per share on February 10. Alberto still has P17.9 million worth of DITO shares left.

Alberto held an initial 1,000 DITO shares when he was appointed in July 2020 when the stock was till trading at P2.75 per share.

Ong also dumped 200,000 shares from February 10 to 11 at a price range of P17.089 to 17.845. Ong still has P7.7 million worth of DITO shares left.

Ong had only one share under his name when he joined DITO on December 2019.

DITO was then trading at P2.82 per share.

DITO has been shattering records since the start of February as it closed to a new intra-day high of P18.30 on February 17.
