Ernest Cu sets up Globe’s own PCR testing center

Globe Telecom has set up its very own coronavirus testing laboratory nearly a year into the pandemic.

Globe Telecom has set up its very own coronavirus testing laboratory nearly a year into the pandemic.

Globe president Ernest Cu tapped Healthway clinics, the healthcare unit of the Ayala Group, to start testing network employees this February.

“We built our own PCR Testing Lab to ensure the health and safety of our workforce,” Cu said in an online post, hoping fellow C-suite executives will follow.

“This will encourage all of Globe Group’s employees, as well as their family and immediate household members to regularly get tested for COVID-19. Protecting our employees is our top priority,” he added.

Most companies are now awaiting the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines to the Philippines while other countries have already started injecting the shots in the arms of their residents.
